Pictures of me and Duke

Tommorow is duke’s surgery, though he is already a tripod i am still worried about how he will cope. I know in my heart he will be fine but still worry. Seeing as though tommorow is also our family picture day and he won’t be able to attend we decided to take some pictures of our own, also to kind of remember him before the full amputation. Picture time with him is not easy but it sure is fun. we also went to Petsmart, bad idea too many little things scurrying around and treats are way too close and out in the open.

it’s always scarry to have our tripawd ‘brothers and sisters’ in surgery, but he will heal and be much better after it’s completed. paws crossed for quick recovery!!!! great pictures – we especially like the one of you two napping together!!!

Great photos Ashley. Hang in there and stay positive. The Duke will be back home before you know it.

Fortis and I were hanging out at Starbucks today and met another GSD named Duke. He had a tough beginning as well. His mom found him in down town Houston thrown into a dumpster when only a young puppy. So now I know two GSD pups named Duke!

We will be keeping you guys in our thoughts and prayers tomorrow.
